This Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) is issued by Inspay Digital Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 and having its registered office in India (“Company”, “Inspay”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This Policy governs the terms and conditions relating to cancellation of transactions, API requests, and Services availed through the website www.inspay.in, application interfaces, APIs, dashboards, or any other digital platform operated by the Company (collectively, the “Platform”).
This Policy forms an integral part of the Company’s Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and other applicable policies and shall be read in conjunction with the same.
1. NATURE OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Inspay facilitates digital payment APIs, identity verification services (KYC/KYB), PAN processing applications, and related fintech infrastructure. The Services offered on the Platform involve real-time digital processing which, once initiated or successfully transmitted to the relevant banking partner or regulatory authority, cannot be recalled, reversed, or manually canceled.
Due to the instant nature of digital transactions and APIs, cancellations are subject to strict conditions and limitations as set out in this Policy.
2. GENERAL CANCELLATION PRINCIPLE
Transactions processed on the Platform are considered final and binding once the API request or payment has been successfully authorized and confirmed. Cancellation requests shall be considered only in extremely limited circumstances and strictly in accordance with this Policy.
The Company reserves the right to reject any cancellation request that does not meet the criteria specified herein.
3. CANCELLATION BEFORE PROCESSING
A User may request cancellation of a transaction or service request only if the API call, application, or payment has not been successfully processed or transmitted to the respective beneficiary/regulatory authority. Such requests must be made immediately after initiation and prior to the actual processing of the service.
Cancellation requests received after processing or transmission to banking nodes/government portals (such as Protean) shall not be accepted under any circumstances.
4. NON-CANCELLABLE TRANSACTIONS
Once a transaction, API request, or application (e.g., PAN Creation/Correction, BBPS bill payment, or KYC validation) has been successfully executed, processed, or submitted to the relevant authority, the transaction shall be deemed complete and non-cancellable. The Company shall not entertain cancellation requests in such cases.
Transactions processed through bulk APIs, payouts, or B2B infrastructure pipelines shall also be non-cancellable once processing has commenced in the core system.
5. CANCELLATION DUE TO TECHNICAL ERRORS
In the event that a transaction fails or remains in a prolonged pending state due to a technical error attributable solely to the Company or its banking partners, the Company may, at its sole discretion, cancel the transaction and initiate appropriate remedial action. Such action may include reprocessing of the request or initiation of a refund in accordance with the applicable Refund Policy.
No cancellation shall be permitted where the error arises due to incorrect information (such as wrong account numbers or invalid KYC details) provided by the User or due to circumstances beyond the Company’s reasonable control.
6. CANCELLATION BY THE COMPANY
The Company reserves the right to cancel any transaction or suspend API access at its sole discretion, including but not limited to cases involving suspected fraud, unauthorized or unlawful activity, violation of the Company’s Terms & Conditions, regulatory restrictions, or risk-flagged accounts.
In such cases, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses suffered by the User or their end-customers.
7. MODE OF CANCELLATION REQUEST
All cancellation inquiries must be submitted in writing to the Company through its official support channel at support@inspay.in, along with relevant transaction IDs and reference numbers. The Company shall review such requests and communicate its decision within a reasonable timeframe.
Submission of a cancellation request does not guarantee approval of such request.
8. RELATIONSHIP WITH REFUND POLICY
Approved cancellations, where applicable, shall be governed by the Company’s Refund Policy. Refunds, if any, shall be processed only to the original funding source/wallet and within timelines prescribed by applicable payment gateway or banking regulations.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from the rejection of a cancellation request, delay in processing, or the non-availability of cancellation for digital transactions once initiated.
10. AMENDMENT OF POLICY
The Company reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this Policy at any time in order to reflect changes in business practices, API capabilities, legal requirements, or regulatory expectations. Any such amendments shall be effective upon publication on the Platform.
11. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Courts having competent jurisdiction in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or relating to this Policy.
